Futhark, which is a part of the Vikings' runic script, is the name of Sweden's second active TICA club. It was formed in autumn 2023 and is for all cat lovers. Purebred cats, domestic cats, breeders or buyers - everyone is welcome!

The club's goal is to be a complement to our Swedish sister clubs as well as:
- To promote the welfare of all cats, both purebred and domestic cats.
- To hold exhibitions closer to western- and southern Sweden.
- Hold meetings and other activities to promote knowledge and interest in cats overall.
- Cherish friendship between cat lovers, owners, breeders, exhibitors and promote their common interest in cats.
- To encourage breeding according to TICA standards and to encourage registration of cats in TICA.
- To promote and encourage kindness towards all animals, and through information prevent neglect and mistreatment of animals.

- To encourage neuter/spay of cats that are not part of a planned breeding program. This is to counteract the excess of unwanted domestic cats and strengthen the cat's status.
